Template:Citation-needed

Overview

Adds 'Citation Needed' marker to any text. The link doesn't actually go anywhere; it's a tongue-in-cheek way of saying "needs further thought/explanation".

Usage

The following:

{{citation-needed|This is a controversial statement}}

will produce:

This is a controversial statement[citation needed]

You can use it standalone too:

This will need to be frobjugated with the armdweller{{citation-needed}}

produces:

This will need to be frobjugated with the armdweller[citation needed]

Use of this template will decorate its page with a category of Citations Pending so that the pages can be found with relative ease in the categories list.
